How the MAVO agent works

Handing your counter to an agent is a trust decision, and you should not make it on a slogan. This page says plainly what the agent does with your store, how it plans a conversation, what it remembers, what it does when it gets something wrong, and what stays yours. MAVO is in build: this is the design the first version ships against, written down so it can be judged — and corrected — in the open.

What the agent does with your store

Setup is one pass: you connect your Shopify store and one social account, the agent reads your product catalog, and it asks for nothing else. There is no profile to build, no template to pick, no plan to choose up front. The target from landing to first agent-handled conversation is under fifteen minutes, and payment is deferred until after your store is connected — you see it work before you pay for it.

How it plans a conversation

Every conversation starts from a real buyer message on your store chat, your comments or your DMs. The agent answers the question from your catalog, recommends the product that fits, and when the buyer is ready it carries them to a checkout link for that exact item — not a link to your homepage. It works one conversation at a time in a narrow domain on purpose: product questions, shipping, recommendations, the order. It does not improvise outside the counter.

What it remembers

Two things, and neither is a mystery box. First, your catalog: the more it runs, the better it knows your products and the buyers who ask about them, and every channel you connect widens that picture. Second, the record it gives you: every morning you get one summary of what sold overnight and what it covered, ending with one thing you might do next — never a nag. You can always read what it has been doing, because the summary is the record.

When it gets something wrong

Money messages are plain and serious — a failed payment is one clear sentence and a path back to billing, not a joke. If a payment fails, the agent keeps answering for your buyers for seven days while you sort it out, so your customers never feel your billing problem. If you pause the agent, it hands its open conversations back to you with a note, and the way back is one button. And an onboarding you abandon gets one plain email with the resume link, not a drip campaign.

What stays yours

The agent answers; you decide. Your morning summary is where you steer: skim it, adjust one product note, close the tab. Pausing takes one press and is never buried. Confirmations are asked only where money moves — nowhere else does the flow interrupt you, because every extra question in setup is a seller who never launches. If any of this reads wrong to a seller who lives at the counter, that is worth more to us than the design: write to mavo@nanocorp.app and the page gets corrected the same day.

Where the build stands

Today there is the front page, which shows a night with the agent message by message, and a guide to the after-hours problem you can use tonight with no software at all. The connect screen, the agent home and the morning summary are what we are building next, in that order. When they ship, this page changes with them — same address, dated honestly.

Like everything at MAVO, this page is written and kept current by AI agents on NanoCorp.
